Louise Sherman, LCPC, M.Ed
Louise strives to enhance an individuals’ relationship with themselves, identifying that when met with adequate support, we can all find joy and fulfillment in life. She is dedicated to renewing lives and supporting the recovery of those struggling with chronic stress, process addictions, relationship challenges, life transitions, and mood disorders. Louise employs an integrative therapeutic approach, in which she incorporates Insight-Oriented Therapy, Experiential Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and EMDR.
Louise is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, who specializes in trauma recovery. She received a Master of Education in Counseling from DePaul University, Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of Denver and is fully trained in EMDR Therapy. Louise primarily works with adults in individual, couples, and group therapy. She has practiced as a therapist in both residential and outpatient therapeutic settings, leading group intensive workshops and recovery programs, while guiding group and individual therapeutic sessions.
Louise realizes that selecting a therapist is an incredibly personal decision and that an authentic connection, as well as a safe and supportive environment is needed.
